Our Blackboard Menu is a lunch menu which changes weekly and is based around locally produced, seasonal vegetables and home-made Italian recipes.

Taken from the idea of Italian farmers opening their houses for supper, the agriturismo menu changes weekly and is always traditional Italian recipes made with the freshest ingredients.

We also serve a hearty English breakfast menu all day, everyday. This is sample of what we offer for breakfasts and brunches we do in the three Frizzante cafes, it may differ depending on the season or the cafe.

HOMEMADE CASERECCI £10

- with slow roast pork ragu', parmesan and thyme

- with trout, mixed peppers, cherry tomatoes in a chilli and garlic iol. 

SOUP OF THE DAY- With toasted sour dough bread. £5.50

MEATBALLS- homemade meatballs in a rich tomato sauce with a creamy mashed potato £10.50

STEAK SANDWICH- ribeye steak, grilled red onion, mustard mayo, rocket and tomato in toasted ciabatta served with paprika new potato wedges £11.50

TART - bacon and brocolli tart served with a seasonal salad £7.50

TART - butternut squash and blue cheese tart served with a seasonal salad £7.50

JACKET POTATO - jacket potato with crayfish, lemon and chives in creme fraiche served with a crisp farmhouse salad. £9.50

Starters:

Homemade pork, green peppercorn & cognac terrine – served with pickles and toasted sourdough

Roast pumpkin and chestnut soup served with sourdough bread

 

Main Course:

Roast British turkey breast with roast potatoes, braised red cabbage and an Italian sausage and sage stuffing served with a rich gravy

Vegetarian Shepard’s pie – lentils, tomatoes, carrots and celery topped with goats cheese potato mash and served with a winter salad

 

Deserts:

Panettone with brandy sauce

Warm chocolate brownie with gelato
